Each year, KI requires all clubs to conduct a youth protection training so that we can inform and educate our members on guidelines, best practices and required actions for our members who work with youth under the age of 18. As a member of one of our youth committees, you are invited to participate.
The GA District Youth Protection Manager is doing this training for the Galleria/NW Kiwanis club on Oct. 28th, 12:15 pm, and it will be offered via Zoom. All of our clubs in our Division 1 are invited to participate so that we can check off this requirement! As a leader of our club and a chair of a committee that works with youth, I hope that you will attend this session! I am also going to put this in the bulletin and also send to all members of the committees that serve youth, so hopefully we will get a good turnout.

Below you will find an invitation for any Kiwanis member who works with any children under the age of 18 as a part of or on behalf of any Kiwanis Club. Every Kiwanis Club is expected to inform and educate its members on these guidelines, best practices and required actions for individuals who become aware of youth in potentially harmful situations. This training must be performed annually.
Attached is the Youth Protection Policies and Procedures which should be distributed to all club members. The meeting below that is being hosted by The Galleria Northwest Atlanta Club will serve as the annual training for all of Division 1. I highly encourage as many participants as are able to attend. The program is only 40-45 minutes.
