Lance Russell is an Atlanta-based filmmaker and media communicator. A seasoned Director/Cinematographer with an innate ability to cut to the heart of the matter, Lance’s instincts are tailor-made for today’s “media bite” culture. His over 5-decade career producing television commercials, and broadcast & cable promotions will be familiar to many in Atlanta thanks to his work with Rich’s, Macy’s, the CNN networks and, currently, the Atlanta Regional Commission. Lance’s current passion is bringing Atlantans closer to their colorful and inspiring past with his “rest of the story” style, YouTube video series, Stories of Atlanta. “History’s best communicators,” says Lance, “have always been storytellers. There’s a reason for everything, you just have to know the story.”
