Jimmy Etheredge served as CEO of Accenture North America, the global company's largest geographic market, from 2019 until his retirement on August 31st of this year. Under his leadership North America grew by 50% from $19B to $30B.

Jimmy made it his mission to create a culture of compassion for the nearly 80,000 people he led in North America, continuously striving to create a workplace where everyone could feel respected and experience a strong sense of belonging.  His commitment helped the company earn numerous top rankings including a top five ranking for US by Fortune's Great Places to Work (up from 55 ranking when he became North America CEO).

During his time as CEO of Accenture North America, he helped steer the organization and its clients through the pandemic while positioning Accenture as a leader in disruptive innovation and enterprise reinvention. Jimmy's growth strategy expanded the breadth and depth of the services Accenture provides to 13 industry groups, numerous Fortune 500 companies and some of the largest organizations in the US federal government.

Jimmy joined Accenture in 1985. His 38-year career included leading teams responsible for many of the company's largest clients and overseeing practices in both North America and Europe.

He has been recognized as one of Business Insider's "Power Players of Consulting", Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Most Admired CEO", Georgia Trend's "100 Most Influential Georgians", and Atlanta Magazine's Top 500. Jimmy channels his passion for community impact through several board positions including Techbridge, Atlanta Police Foundation, Boys Scouts of America, and Woodruff Arts Center. Jimmy is also a director with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.

Jimmy has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he currently serves as a trustee and member of the school's Hill Society.

KCA Parking only in Parking Deck
This is a reminder that you are not to park in the open lot across from the Loudermilk Center front doors.  Only park in the parking deck for the Tuesday meetings.
 
The open lot is now a public lot, and you will be subject to paying their parking fees and possible booting/towing.  The club parking card or stickers will not apply to this lot.
 
Also, please make sure you have a decal for your car to identify that you are with the club if you park in the reserved spaces in the deck.

No Kiwanis Club Meeting July 2nd
There will not be a Kiwanis Club of Atlanta luncheon meeting on Tuesday, July 2nd in observance of the 4th of July holiday.

Are you attending the KCA weekly meetings in person all the time and want to skip the registration process?  Just email Karen at KiwanisClubAtlanta@gmail.com and have your name added to the automatic attendance list.  Easy Peasy.  All we ask is that you let us know when you ARE NOT going to be there so we don't have extra food ordered.  Add your name to the list today and we will see you on Tuesday, Jan 4th!
