As you might know, since we resumed our in-person meetings, the Kiwanis Club of Atlanta has been giving the excess food from our lunches to Free 99 Fridge (F99F), an organization that collects excess food from restaurants and other food places and gives it to people needing food. The food is delivered to F99F locations which have a refrigerator and pantry.  Tom Cross leads this effort and we need your help.
When we ordered boxed lunches or sandwiches, it was fairly easy to give our extra meals to Free 99 Fridge. All we had to do was label the meals and deliver them to a F99F fridge. Now that we are having buffet lunches, the logistics of preparing the food to be delivered is more time consuming and complicated. We need a few volunteers to help Tom with this new service project.

The two tasks we need help with are:
1.) packaging and labeling the food in containers and
2.) delivering the food to the F99F site.

We plan to package and label the food at the Loudermilk Center immediately after lunch. It then needs to be delivered to the F99F site located at the North Presbyterian Church at Scott Blvd and Medlock Rd.

We need at least 1 volunteer every meeting besides Tom. Ideally, we could use 2 volunteers. It does not have to be the same volunteers each meeting.
