Rena Youngblood is the founding Executive Director of the Mimms Museum of Technology and Art in Roswell, Georgia, an institution dedicated to exploring the intersection of technological innovation, creativity, and human experience. She joined the museum in January 2020, shortly after it opened to the public, and has led its evolution into a dynamic cultural destination that preserves the past while exploring its ongoing impact.

As executive director, Rena oversees strategy, fundraising, partnerships, collections stewardship, education, and public programming. Her work focuses on positioning the museum as a platform for dialogue—where technology, art, and history converge to inform conversations around innovation, ethics, and cultural impact. Under her leadership, the museum has expanded its audience, strengthened its financial foundation, and developed ambitious exhibitions and signature events.

Prior to her museum work, Rena held senior leadership roles in education and nonprofit membership organizations, including the Association of American Educators and the Georgia Charter Schools Association. She holds a BA in English Literature with a minor in Communication Studies from UNC Charlotte and serves on multiple civic and nonprofit boards.
