David Wynett is a native Atlantan and the President, CEO, and Chief Creative Officer of FutureVerse — America’s first Museum of the Future and the Georgia Center for Innovation and Education, a major new civic initiative currently being developed in Atlanta. The project is envisioned as one of the nation’s most advanced science and technology centers and one of the most ambitious civic projects in Georgia since the creation of the Georgia Aquarium.
FutureVerse will feature immersive and interactive exhibits focused on the future of health, technology, sustainability, space, and innovation. The center will serve as a powerful educational platform designed to inspire students across Georgia to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and medicine. David leads the effort to build FutureVerse, working with universities, civic leaders, foundations, and corporate partners to position the project as Georgia's "Moonshot for Education"—an initiative designed to inspire the next generation of innovators and help move Georgia into the Top 25 states in education.
