Wesley Wicker is a former president of the Kiwanis Club of Atlanta, and was an active Kiwanian in the Indianapolis, Americus, GA, and Atlanta Clubs before moving to Big Canoe, GA in 2012.

Wicker is the owner and managing director of Oxman Publishing. The company just produced its first book, My Baseball Story, a compilation of 159 stories by fans of our American pastime. The book is truly unique in that it tells personal stories of friends, family, and fans of the game, rather than articles about professional baseball players.

Wicker is a partner and principal of Columns Fundraising, an Atlanta-based consulting firm. He has more than forty years of experience in higher education and in the development profession. He served as Vice President of Advancement at Kennesaw State University for ten years, and concurrently as Executive Director of the KSU Foundation. Wes also served as Vice President of Major Gifts for United Way of Metro Atlanta and with United Way of Central Indiana (Indianapolis) for more than seven years.

Wes earned a B.A. in History from the University of Alabama, an M.Ed. from Georgia Southwestern State University, and an Ed.D. from the University of Georgia. He began his career in Admissions, and then in Alumni Affairs at Georgia Southwestern State University. Wes also worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia while in graduate school.
