Outside of CornerCap’s founders, Richard Bean, CPA, CFA, is among the longest tenured members of CornerCap and leads a talented team of wealth advisors. Richard stays directly engaged with as many CornerCap clients as possible to stay abreast of the topics and trends most impacting high net worth families in any given year.  His approach to client service is very hands-on, focused on custom scenario planning to suit individual client needs, a principle that he ensures every member of the wealth advisor team exudes in their client service, as well.  Richard received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a member of several professional organizations.

Brendan Wagner joined MONTAG in 2017. He manages portfolios for individuals and families, and spends a significant amount of time on equity research. He understands the qualitative aspects of a business’s culture, processes, and end-market stability that enable it to deliver strong returns for shareholders. He is wary of widespread consensus, and looks to own companies that will protect and grow our capital despite unknowable future challenges. Prior to joining MONTAG, Brendan managed equity and fixed income portfolios at Gratus Capital and Spectrum Advisory Services in Atlanta.  Brendan is from San Anselmo, California. He and his wife, Molly, have two daughters, Avery and Emmy, with whom they enjoy many outdoor local activities.  He received his B.S. in Finance from Boston College
