Courtney Hart currently serves as Director of Regional Development and Alumni Relations at her alma mater, the University of Georgia, working out of the Atlanta office. As a proud double Dawg, Courtney is passionate about helping alumni, families, and friends make a lasting impact on students while enriching their own Bulldog experience. In this role, she has the privilege of working across all areas of campus to connect people with opportunities that strengthen the Bulldog community and help UGA grow, thrive, and inspire future generations.

Before embarking on a 20-year career in Division I coaching, Courtney Hart represented the United States at the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia, where she earned two gold medals in the 400-meter medley relay and the 400-meter freestyle relay. She also competed internationally on the Pan-American Games teams (1999, 2003), the Pan Pacific team (2002), and the United States World Cup Teams (2000–2004).

After graduating cum laude from UGA in 2001 with a degree in sports studies and communications, Hart worked as a motivational speaker for organizations including the NCAA, Coca-Cola, HealthSouth, and Arby’s. She also served as director of the Golden West Swim Lessons Program in Huntington Beach, California, before beginning her collegiate coaching career in North Florida. Hart joined Georgia Tech as an assistant swim coach in 2007 and was elevated to head coach in April 2009, a position she held with distinction for over 15 years. In August 2024, she stepped away from coaching to take on her current role at UGA. Hart earned her master's degree in sports administration from the University of Georgia in 2005.
