Wheeler Bryan, Jr is the Historian for the Sea Island Company. He came to Sea Island as a  Banquet Captain, coming from C. Parks Catering and Events where he was the Director of  Sales and Marketing. Bryan previously served as Managing Director for Chappell Bryan, an  event and promotional marketing firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Before founding Chappell Bryan,  he was the Director of Administrative Services and Special Assistant to the President for  Interactive Attractions, a full service, event production company based in Atlanta. Prior to  his work at Interactive Attractions, Bryan was the Director of collegiate marketing for the  RM Hines Group. 

Bryan received his undergraduate degree from Limestone College. . In 2019, Bryan  completed a Masters Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University School  of Hotel Administration. Bryan was part of the 2019 Class of Leadership Glynn and the 2023  Class of Southeast Leadership Georgia and is a Chamber Ambassador for the Brunswick  Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce.
