Kiwanis 5th Tuesday Meeting!

A special evening for our club to enjoy light appetizers and adult beverages while hearing about the United States' largest organization dedicated to the art form of puppetry. It is one of the few puppet museums in the world. Exhibits will be open for viewing!

5:30 pm Reception Begins (Arrive any time after 5:15 pm)

6:30 pm Welcome and Remarks 😊

This will be in place of our regular luncheon

Free for Reg/Corp Members - $20 for Assoc/Satellite/Emer/Hon Members $25 for Guests

KCA Legion of Honor Members
LEGION OF HONOR 2023 - In 1945, Joe Shaw, a past president of our club, created the Legion of Honor program, which is now International in scope and recognizes individuals who have been part of Kiwanis for at least 25 years.   Congratulations to the following individuals who have achieved another year of Legion of Honor:   *Symbolizes those that are new or who have added 5 more years to their membership.

Register for National Philanthropy Day, Nov 2
National Philanthropy Day 2023 is Thursday, November 2nd at the Oceans Ballroom, Georgia Aquarium.  The Kiwanis Club of Atlanta is proud to be the Philanthropy in the Classroom Sponsor!   With our sponsorship, we have a limited number of Tickets available to our members first, then to guests.

Camp Kiwanis Play Day
You are invited to join us for Camp Kiwanis Volunteer and Play Day on Saturday, November 18 for a day of Outdoor Family Fun!  Join LINK teen leaders and staff at Camp Kiwanis beginning at 1 pm for Archery, Animal Encounters, Nature and Night Hikes, Mountain Biking and Outdoor Games.  Hot Dogs and S'mores around the campfire at 6 pm.  Overnight options are available!
 
Help Out with Our New Service Project to F99F
As you might know, since we resumed our in-person meetings, the Kiwanis Club of Atlanta has been giving the excess food from our lunches to Free 99 Fridge (F99F), an organization that collects excess food from restaurants and other food places and gives it to people needing food. The food is delivered to F99F locations which have a refrigerator and pantry.  Tom Cross leads this effort and we need your help.

Are you attending the KCA weekly meetings in person all the time and want to skip the registration process?  Just email Karen at KiwanisClubAtlanta@gmail.com and have your name added to the automatic attendance list.  Easy Peasy.  All we ask is that you let us know when you ARE NOT going to be there so we don't have extra food ordered.  Add your name to the list today and we will see you on Tuesday, Jan 4th!
