Each year, KI requires all clubs to inform and educate our members on Youth Protection Guidelines, best practices and required actions for our members who work with youth under the age of 18. Attached is the latest official policy and procedure and we ask all members to review this. Also, club members who work directly with youth under 18 years of age are required to undergo a background screening, offered through KI and accessed on the KI membership portal. More information will be sent directly to those members who chair a youth committee, or who are listed as a volunteer with a youth committee, in the next few weeks. Thank you for your attention to this important guideline which helps ensure that all the youth we help through our service programs are kept safe. |
