AMIS 46th Annual Welcome Reception
Please join us for the 46th Annual Atlanta Ministry for International Students (AMIS) Welcome Reception.  This gathering is for all international students and scholars from colleges and universities in the Atlanta area.  The reception will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2 - 5pm at GT CODA Tech Square Plaza in midtown.  Please register at this link if you would like to attend to support Atlanta’s international students.  Or you can email Heidy Brusitus at hbrusitus@yahoo.com.

Another opportunity with AMIS is to be an AMIGO to an international student.  It is so very meaningful to have a friend both to connect with and learn about each other’s cultures.  https://www.amisatlanta.org/amigovolunteer

Get Involved - Read to the kids at Dean Rusk!
We are thrilled to be restarting the Kiwanis reading program at Dean Rusk Head Start Academy after the COVID hiatus.  Pre-pandemic we had 15 readers covering 238 pre-K students in 15 classes.  The current program involves reading to 3 and 4 year olds using “theme” books available in the classrooms.

The kids, teachers and readers love it.  If you read to your own kids or grandkids, you’re qualified.  Just need to complete the public school background check.  We invite you to join us.  Contact Dan Douglass, 404/272-8312, ddouglass@stites.com.
Quarterly KCA Dues Bills - Payment Options!
Did you know that you can pay your Kiwanis Dues by Zelle?  Yep!  In addition to paying by check, credit card, (and we are one of the few that will even take cash), you can do a direct bank transfer using Zelle!  Simply use our email address for the Zelle link and be sure to let me know it is coming so I can credit your account.  Thanks for your prompt payment of your dues ... it helps keep our club running smoothly!
Past KCA Club Meetings for You to Watch!

Automatic In Person Attendance Registration Available!
Are you attending the KCA weekly meetings in person all the time and want to skip the registration process?  Just email Karen at KiwanisClubAtlanta@gmail.com and have your name added to the automatic attendance list.  Easy Peasy.  All we ask is that you let us know when you ARE NOT going to be there so we don't have extra food ordered.  Add your name to the list today and we will see you on Tuesday, Jan 4th!
KCA Parking only in Parking Deck
This is a reminder that you are not to park in the open lot across from the Loudermilk Center front doors.  Only park in the parking deck for the Tuesday meetings.

The open lot is now a public lot, and you will be subject to paying their parking fees and possible booting/towing.  The club parking card or stickers will not apply to this lot.

Also, please make sure you have a decal for your car to identify that you are with the club if you park in the reserved spaces in the deck.

Thank you for your cooperation and see you at Kiwanis!
