My name is Marteen Blue. I possess a background in Education (both stateside and abroad).  

In 2014, while living in Saudi Arabia, I encountered and survived a massive stroke during a workout. Although challenging, I am better than I have ever been. I have traveled from one country to the other seeking herbal and non-traditional remedies/medicines and ways to treat myself post stroke, which I believe has aided my comeback. I would be dismissive if I did not mention my caretaker, George C. Blue for all of his warmth during my darkest days. He truly made my life worth living.

Today, I practice yoga, cycle, swim, and hike, all of which I had not done prior to having a stroke. It has become my mission to serve as a beacon of hope to others and inform them of my recovery methods and journey to wellness.

KCA Weekly Meeting Registration due on Thursdays at Noon
The deadline to submit your reservation to attend the weekly meeting is now Thursday at Noon.  The Loudermilk Center caterers need to order our food on Fridays for delivery early the next week.  So we don't have the ability to get additional food at the last minute.  If you don't have a reservation, you are welcome to attend the meeting, but must wait until after the meeting starts to see if there is food remaining.  Thanks for your help with this.

Are you attending the KCA weekly meetings in person all the time and want to skip the registration process?  Just email Karen at KiwanisClubAtlanta@gmail.com and have your name added to the automatic attendance list.  Easy Peasy.  All we ask is that you let us know when you ARE NOT going to be there so we don't have extra food ordered.  Add your name to the list today and we will see you on Tuesday, Jan 4th!
