Dear Fellow Kiwanians!

In response to the recent recommendation of ‘Social Distancing’  due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the KCA Board of directors met this afternoon and made the decision to cancel our upcoming meetings for March 17^th, March 24^th, the March 31^st 5^th Tuesday and April 7^th.   We will continue to follow the guidance from the State of Georgia and the CDC, and will keep you updated should there be any changes for Kiwanis Club of Atlanta.   Please note that the Loudermilk Center will be closed through the end of March as well.  

We all have a role to play in preventing the spread of coronavirus in our community and we ask every member to do their part:

• Follow CDC hygiene best practices that include regular hand washing for at least 20 seconds, avoiding touching your face, and covering your cough or sneeze.
• Use non-contact forms of greeting instead of physical contact such as shaking hands.
• Keep at least 3 feet of distance between individuals at meetings and events whenever possible.
• Consult your healthcare provider if you (or a member of your family) is at risk for serious illness from COVID-19 before attending other public event. Most children and adults under 60 are not at risk of serious illness from coronavirus. However, adults over 60 and those with a compromised immune system or an underlying health condition may be at greater risk.

The decision to cancel our upcoming meetings was not easy, however our KCA member’s health and safety are paramount during these challenging times.  Thank you for understanding as we do our part to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
