As the Kiwanis Club of Atlanta begins it's Centennial Celebration, the Centennial Committee has created a speaker series to highlight people and activities from the club's past 100 years!

This week's “Centennial Minute" will focus on the period from May 1, 1988, to May 1, 1998.

At next week’s meeting, former club President (1993-94) Tony Callaway will take us back to the decade during which he was President.  These were heady times for Atlanta and our club.  Kiwanis International celebrated its seventy-fifth (75th) Anniversary in 1990.  In 1993 our Club celebrated and had Camp Kiwanis opened it new location on the Broad River, and the world came to call on us in the form of the Olympic Games in 1996.  Make your plans to be in attendance as Tony relives these days with us.

If you missed the Centennial Minutes from any of our past periods in Atlanta Kiwanis history, you can view the highlights  on our website!  You can read the scripts and see photos from when our club was founded up through the time when the first women joined our club.  Just go to our home page at and click on the Centennial Celebration tab!
